The Friends of Van Buren State Park,
Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization that was formed in 2004
to promote and support Van Buren State Park, located in
Van Buren, Ohio.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Friends of Van
Buren State Park is:

To promote and enhance the
Van Buren State Park facilities and trails and
provide services to the communities of NW Ohio,
offering opportunities for the public to
discover the natural and cultural history of the
area.

To act as a base of support
for the Van Buren State park by assisting the
park staff, raising funds, and accepting
donations to aid park operations, and provide
additional forums and communication channels
within our NW region.

To supplement shortfalls from
tax revenues and program fees.
Our Mission Statement
We, the members of the FVBSP
accept the challenge to maintain the highest standard of
recreational opportunities for our park and ask that
each of you join us for the benefit of our families,
neighbors and our community, to make Van Buren State
Park the best little park in Ohio.
