It was a beautiful day on lake Van Buren. Perfect for canoeing with friends. All eight canoes were launched, filled with excited kids and smiling adults. Led by naturalist Natalie Miller they explored the lake for wildlife.

 

The kids were excited to discover ducks and turtles.

 

The Friends of Van Buren State Park want to thank all the participants and especially the Hancock County Parks for their assistance and providing the canoes.

Everyone had a great time and asked Natalie to be sure and do this again.

Another day well spent in the Best little state park in Ohio.
